Our client is seeking a high caliber, experienced and energetic attorney, with an interest in small business credit, to join their Commercial, Credit Global Customer Operations legal team.
The attorney will work closely with the Credit Business the Enterprise Services division as part of a growing legal team, currently comprised of approximately 150 legal staff members globally.

Must have 7 or more years of experience practicing either in-house (or in an equivalent setting) or at a reputable law firm.

Ideally, will have familiarity with legal issues arising in some or all of the following areas:? credit and lending, collections, technology, consumer protection, financial services and operations.? A specific interest and/or experience in small business lending is preferred.

Familiarity and prior work with the following laws and regulations is preferred: UDAAP, EFTA/Reg. E, TILA/Reg. Z, GLBA/Reg. P, FCRA/Reg. V, FDCPA, ECOA/Reg. B, CAN-SPAM, TCPA and other laws affecting payments products, and consumer and small business credit products.? Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
