Applicable only for MOS positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies to.
The MOS supporting our Orthopedic Specialty Hospital at Mercy is expected to efficiently perform their duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's Mission and Values.
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager or Director, the MOS facilitates any patient scheduling and service needs for the physician(s) they are assigned to, including office visits, procedures, diagnostic studies, and labs.
Responsibilities:
The (MOS) position covers both administrative and clinical duties.
They are responsible for prepping and running the Physician's clinics by:
obtaining patient charts and encounter forms for all visits, Insurance verification, accurately collecting and documenting basic patient assessments, assisting providers with exams and procedures, and room stocking.
They will triage patient phone calls, patient requests/questions, and clinic paperwork which includes:
procedure consents, faxes, and mail.
This position is required to travel to Mercy's downtown campus and Mercy's satellite offices

Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Other Requirements:
Required to travel to satellite offices.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
